02 — What we do

From licence to first oil.

Our focus is narrow on purpose: acquire proven hydrocarbon assets, develop them to production, and monetise — the same path this team has walked before.

The discipline

Four steps, one discipline.

We do not chase frontier exploration risk. We take positions where the geology is proven and the path to production is clear — then we execute with the engineering rigour and capital discipline that turn licences into lifted barrels.

Step 01

Acquire

We secure high-potential hydrocarbon positions in the African upstream — on terms that hold through the cycle. Targets are screened for proven reserves, clear fiscal terms, and a host state we can build a long relationship with.

Step 02

Develop

We take fields from licence award to first oil — engineered, funded, and on schedule. The Kibea Field is our active development: appraisal, facilities, and an active drilling programme.

Step 03

Produce

We run onshore production in the Doseo Basin, Chad, with associated-gas reinjection from the start — no routine flaring beyond the early-production window. Crude is evacuated by export pipeline some 1,000 km to the coast, where it is stored and offloaded from an FPSO offshore Cameroon.

Step 04

Monetise

Doseo crude reaches market through the export pipeline and FPSO offtake offshore Cameroon. We realise value through proven exits — in southern Chad, three PSCs were grown to 30,000 bopd and sold in full to Glencore for $1.3 billion. The same playbook underwrites our plan to list a debt-free operator.

Our assets

The lead asset, and the basin behind it.

Tytan's portfolio is anchored by a single, high-conviction development in Chad — the Doseo Block, sitting within one of the least-drilled, highest-prospectivity onshore plays on the continent.

The Doseo Block, Chad.

An onshore development in the heart of the Doseo Basin, southern Chad. Five proven fields — Tega, Saku, Bedoya, Kibea and Maku — hold 125 million barrels of 2P reserves, with a further 575 million barrels of contingent resources mapped by Exxon in 19 undrilled structures. Operated by Tytan, with associated-gas reinjection designed into the facilities from the start and reserves independently assured by McDaniel & Associates.
