Global Standards. Local Integrity.
Our commitment to compliance.
Tytan is a private, Canadian-registered operator. Our operations are built to comply with the highest levels of regulatory oversight in every jurisdiction we enter — from the corporate governance expected of a Canadian company to the petroleum, environmental, and anti-corruption regimes of our host states.
Compliance is not a department bolted on at the end. From licence screening to facilities design to the first lifted barrel, we embed it into every stage of the work — protecting the host state's interests, the communities around our fields, and the investors who travel with us.
Licensed to operate, empowered to develop.
Licensing & registration.
We hold verified corporate registration in Canada and operate under the petroleum licences and host-government approvals required for each asset, including the Doseo Block in Chad. These registrations are what allow us to operate fields, move barrels, and contract with confidence internationally.
Our legal, audit, and reserves work is led by established independent names — BDO Canada (audit), Pall Mall of London (legal), and McDaniel & Associates (reserves) — so that the credibility of our filings does not rest on our word alone.
What we pay, to whom, and when.
Host-state & EITI disclosure.
Profit oil and royalties accrue to the host state from the first lifted barrel. We publish those payments per reporting period and per recipient, in line with the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) standard.
We believe transparency is a competitive advantage, not a compliance cost. Clear, published payment flows protect our licence to operate, strengthen the host-state relationship, and give investors a verifiable view of where value goes.
- Payments disclosed per period, per recipient.
- Independent audit of production and lifting volumes.
- Host-government revenue terms set out in the production-sharing framework.
We help you invest with eyes wide open.
Risk disclosure.
Upstream oil and gas development carries real risk — commodity price volatility, subsurface uncertainty, execution and schedule risk, and the geopolitical and regulatory shifts inherent to frontier basins. No development is without it, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What we commit to is proactive transparency: independent reserves assurance, a debt-free balance sheet that gives us room to absorb shocks, and a clear-eyed account of the assumptions behind our plan. Every investor should be informed, protected, and positioned to make their own judgement.
Built on ethics. Backed by accountability.
Ethical & environmental standards.
Our commitment to responsible development is a standard, not a statement. We support international frameworks on anti-corruption, fair practice, and social responsibility, and we expect the same of the partners and suppliers we contract with.
On the environment, the Doseo facilities are engineered for associated-gas reinjection from the start, with no routine flaring beyond the early-production window. Quiet, long-lived operations — built to a standard the host state and the surrounding communities can stand behind.
