David Thompson

David Thompson brings more than three decades of financial and operational expertise in the international oil and gas industry. Over his career, he has raised in excess of $600 million in capital for exploration and production ventures around the world. As Chief Financial Officer of Trillion Energy (CSE: TCF), he helped guide the company’s operations across Turkey and Bulgaria, strengthening its financial structure and accelerating production growth. Earlier in his career, Thompson founded a successful oil-trading enterprise in Bermuda, establishing offices throughout the United States and Europe to manage global supply networks. He also led production operations in Turkmenistan’s Lhamov and Zhdanoy offshore fields in the Caspian Sea, where he helped discover 365 million barrels of oil and 2 TCF of natural gas, securing over $100 million in equity financing to advance development. ELIAS PUNGONG

Elias Pungong is a highly respected advisor to the African oil and gas industry, bringing decades of strategic, financial, and advisory experience. He spent over 15 years as Senior Partner and Africa Oil & Gas Leader at Ernst & Young, where he oversaw assurance, transaction, and advisory services across 19 Sub-Saharan African nations. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading its Francophone Africa business and advising multinational clients on corporate expansion, energy investment, and infrastructure development.

Elias holds an MA in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Oxford, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and has completed executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School and Yale School of Management. He is widely recognized for his leadership in advancing Africa’s energy transition and for his role in shaping sustainable investment frameworks across emerging markets. His global network and deep understanding of both private and public-sector dynamics make him an invaluable strategic leader within Tytan African Resources.

CURTIS COHEN

Curtis Cohen brings over 45 years of global oil and gas experience, spanning exploration, development, and executive leadership across multiple continents. He began his career as a Geoscientist with Exxon, where he spent 15 years working on major discoveries throughout Europe and Africa. As Chief Geophysicist at Pogo Producing Company (now Freeport-McMoRan), Cohen helped grow the company’s market value fourfold to $3 billion through the discovery of over 500 million barrels of oil. Later, as Exploration Manager at Terralliance, he led the pioneering of the Vaca Muerta unconventional oil shale play in Argentina. His leadership continued across Africa as Managing Director of Brittania-U Nigeria Ltd. and COO of Sahara Group, where he doubled proven reserves and production in both onshore and offshore assets. Most recently, as COO of Western Energy East Africa Ltd., he oversaw the development of an 11-billion-barrel exploration prospect in the Comoros. A published author of over 20 technical papers, Curtis Cohen is fluent in English and French and is recognized for his deep geoscientific insight and proven ability to unlock high-value resources across frontier basins

JEFFREY RATCLIFFE

Jeff Ratcliffe is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with more than 14 years of experience leading financial strategy for private and public energy companies operating across North America and Africa. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for several Canadian resource firms, where he guided international expansion and optimized capital structures for growth. Ratcliffe has extensive IPO and public-market experience, overseeing multiple listings and corporate financings — expertise that is instrumental to Tytan’s future market ambitions. His deep understanding of international accounting standards, fiscal governance, and investor relations makes him a cornerstone of the executive team. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Victoria, bringing both analytical precision and financial discipline to the company’s global operations
